Today marked the first day of what will soon become our daily routine.
After-yoga/run shenanigans.
We had our first yoga/run session, ate a delicious lunch (somehow in the mix of us groggily waking up and figuring out who wanted to run and who wanted to yoga... we completely skipped over breakfast!
Our French lessons started today! We split up into two groups, beginners and advanced.
Niyera's notes.
I'm a visual learner... my notes reflect that...
Dans la piscine!
Avery has a water gun and she means business.
Driving into town, we pass a wee residence, the Oliviers' home. I just thought the sign was particularly darling.
We arrive at the super-marché and Chandri decides DeAndre wins the Best Dressed award.
This is perfume...
My favourite part of visiting the super-marché was seeing rows and rows of brands I had never heard of. I felt like France was presenting me with a whole slideshow of its individuality, of little things that make it its own place.
Superman perfume? Tinkerbell perfume?? Why don't I own this!
Kinder... brownies?!
This was their sign for the exit, it looked more like someone stealing from the supermarket and then going on the run. :P
"Alcooliques!" It sounds so funny. :)
We went uptown to sketch and practice perspective.
Classy French fashion as always.
We were all positioned around the fountain in the town, drawing in all different directions.
The window had a pulley system! How awesome is that??
Larissa took a picture of me by the statue uptown. She's always looking out for me, making sure I get some pictures of myself instead of just them and the scenery. :P
And then she wanted a turn as well.
These kids are unbelievably artistic, their creations were beautiful.
Adorable little French kitty. He stayed with us the whole time we were drawing, mewing and looking up at us with curious eyes.
